Wooden Railway LMR GORDON ENGINE & COAL TENDER
Includes a painted and beautifully decorated wooden Famous LMR GORDON Engine and Coal Tender
The original Gordon was built in 1943 to a design that totalled 935 locomotives. Whilst many of these locomotives saw service overseas, Gordon was used to train army personnel at the longmoor military railway in Hampshire.
Gordon is now awaiting repairs and is on display at the engine house visitor centre at highly in Shropshire, midway along the severn valley line.
